JEE Advanced 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2024 and secure admission to IITs, candidates need to meet certain criteria. Check your eligibility grades to know how many points you require in your class 12 exam.
- For General and OBC candidates, a minimum of 75% is required in the class 12 exam, while for SC/ST candidates, the minimum is 65%.
- Candidates should be in the top 20% of their category based on the qualifying exam scores.

Exam Pattern
The question paper pattern, marking scheme, time, etc details of the JEE Advanced 2024 exam below:
- Mode of the exam: The examination will be conducted ONLY in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
- Number of papers: The examination consists of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hours duration each. Appearing in both the papers is compulsory. The examination schedule is as follows.
