To apply, you’ll need to provide your personal and academic information, upload scanned documents, select your exam centers, and pay the application fee. Remember, the deadline to submit your application is March 9, 2024. There’s no option for applying offline. The NTA introduced a new website for NEET 2024 registration: neet.ntaonline.in. NEET UG 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for NEET UG 2024, candidates must be Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, or Foreign Nationals. There is a minimum age requirement of 17 as of January 31, 2024, and no maximum age limit. The educational qualifications mandate passing the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

Candidates need to fulfill specific subject-wise marks and attempt criteria. Additionally, it’s important to meet the eligibility conditions set by the respective states.

Eligibility Criteria Details
Nationality Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and Foreign Nationals are eligible.
Age Limit Minimum age: 17 years as of January 31, 2024. Maximum age: No upper age limit for appearing in NEET UG. However, specific eligibility conditions apply for admission to medical courses in certain states.
Educational Qualification Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply.
Subjects and Marks For the General category, candidates need a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. For SC, ST, and OBC-NCL categories, a minimum of 40% is required in the qualifying examination.

NEET UG 2024 Exam Pattern

The Entrance Test shall consist of 200 multiple-choice questions (four options with a single correct answer)
from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology). 50 questions in each subject will be divided
into two Sections (A and B). The duration of the Examination will be 200 minutes (03 hours 20 minutes)
from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (IST)
